Airbnb works with RB, the makers of Lysol, to keep hosts and guests safe

By partnering with RB and Lysol, Airbnb can build on its commitment to responsible travel and the wellbeing of the communities where its hosts are located

Airbnb works with RB, the creators of Lysolto enable hosts to purchase RB product bundles in more than 20 countries, with a goal of reaching 40 countries by the end of 2021.

As people keep finding new ways to travel and host safely, the partnership will make it easier for hosts to access and make it easier for guests to use Lysol disinfectant solutions. This collaboration will combine the rental company’s extensive health and safety standards with RB’s over 100 years of experience and innovation in the field of germicide aimed at providing better protection for travelers.

Hosts in more than 20 countries including the US, UK, Australia, India and Brazil can now access and order products – including Lysol Disinfectant Wipes and Lysol Disinfectant Spray – from the cleaning section of their Host Account Dashboard.

You can also access additional information and resources such as articles and checklists in the Airbnb Resource Center. The RB cleaning products are available to hosts in two packages: sales kits for hosts and welcome kits for guests.

Depending on the location, disinfection products from Lysol or Lysol are offered in turnover kits and welcome kits that are offered by Pharmapacks for the USA Dettol. According to RB, Lysol disinfectant wipes and Lysol disinfectant spray were the first products approved by the U.S. EPA to kill SARS-COV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

Dettol hand sanitiser has been shown to kill 99.9 percent of all bacteria and viruses, including coronavirus (SARS-COV-2). It was developed with the trusted Dettol brand that has over 80 years of experience and science-based research.

The team of scientists and R&D experts at RB endorsed Airbnb’s five-step improved cleaning process after a thorough review of the robust cleaning and disinfecting guidelines provided to both hosts and guests by Airbnb.
