Adobe Illustrator ‘Futuristic Gradient Velocity Strains’ Textual content Impact
I'm not exactly sure what to call the text effect. I'm going to show you how to create it in this Adobe Illustrator tutorial, but it's the kind of futuristic text style you might see on old VHS tapes, old sci-fi movie titles, etc. or maybe even classic sports or tech brand logos. The best name I can find is "Futuristic Gradient Velocity Lines"! Creating this effect is fairly straightforward, but it does contain a few key techniques that Illustrator can apply to all types of projects. I'm going to show you how to permanently apply the effect to some text first, but stick with it to find an alternative way that the text can be edited.
