Accenture proclaims its intention to accumulate BENEXT, a French Product Administration consultancy

Accenture Announces Intention to Acquire BENEXT_, a French Product Management Consultancy-01 (1)

Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has announced its intention to acquire BENEXT, an independent French consultancy specializing in product management, agile coaching, cloud-based development and data science. Financial details of the transaction will not be disclosed.

Founded in 2014 and based in France, BENEXT has all the expertise needed to help its customers develop, organize, deploy and efficiently manage their digital products while enhancing their customer experience. The BENEXT teams, consisting of around 160 highly qualified specialists, would join OCTO Technology – which has been part of Accenture since 2017 – and thus strengthen the European and international expertise of Accenture Cloud First in general. OCTO Technology is a consulting company that specializes in software development and digital transformation. OCTO Technology teams are mainly based in France and also operate in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

“As many of our customers accelerate their multi-cloud strategies, the need for new agile operating models and user experiences integrated into a multi-cloud universe has never been greater. The cloud’s scalable capabilities would enable large organizations to rethink their business from concept to implementation, ”said Karthik Narain, global head of Accenture Cloud First. BENEXT would be a valuable asset that would allow us to help more customers transform into true digital companies operating at scale in the cloud. This would allow us to accelerate our customers’ transformation to the point where their entire business is geared towards new opportunities. ”

Accenture Cloud First is a multi-service group of 77,000 cloud professionals around the world who, by investing 3 billion in all of the capabilities the cloud offers, quickly and on a large scale. Over the past 24 months, Accenture has made a number of strategic investments to develop and expand its cloud service capabilities. In France, these include the acquisition of Linkbynet in July 2021, Gekko in June 2020 and Cirruseo in June 2019.

The acquisition project is subject to prior coordination with the employee representatives and the usual conditions.
