5WPR's latest addition expands its business and technology practice

5WPR announces the creation of a special practice focused on PR for the Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC)

5W Public Relations (5WPR), one of the largest independent public relations firm in the United States, has announced the creation of a special practice focused on PR for the Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC). The new special focus is an extension of the PR company’s existing practice for corporate and technology communications and offers customers a team of knowledgeable experts on site to help with the introduction and promotion of SPACs.

“Navigating the IPO ecosystem requires a highly coordinated effort and 5W has defined a four-part strategy for successfully launching IPOs and SPACs,” said Ronn Torossian, CEO and Founder of 5WPR. “After the continued interest of customers in this service and the increasing popularity of the SPAC quotation process, we are pleased to found our dedicated SPAC team.”

The SPAC PR team will guide clients through the highly regulated communications structure during the process, which takes place in a much shorter period of time than traditional IPOs.

5WPR has a long history of facilitating financial communications for everything from large M&A deals, IPOs, funding rounds, and recapitalizations to direct experience working with internal and external IR teams.

Previous IPOs and SPAC launches supported by the PR firm have included well-known SaaS and CEM platforms, gaming technologies, the lodging and entertainment industries, internet trading sectors, and financial technology companies.

The services offered to SPAC-PR customers include media work, investor communication, content creation, digital media campaigns, lecture opportunities and contacting the exchange.
