Marketing agency welcomes growing team to new East Yorkshire base

A digital and IT consultancy will hire 100 new employees after reports of rapid growth from the pandemic as companies and organizations accelerate transformation plans.

Leeds-based Answer, which has strong health and medical interests, saw sales jump 40 percent, necessitating a two-year expansion strategy.

Founded in 1999 by Gary and Katie Parlett MBE as the Ultimate People Company, it became Answer in 2009. Last summer, employees took control in a new operating model.

Mr. Parlett, Managing Director, said, “Since we moved to employee ownership, Answer has grown a lot. We have put our people at the center of everything we do, and that means we have great people who are passionate about what they do. It is driving rapid growth in the healthcare, financial services and other commercial sectors.

“We continue to invest in training our team and building a culture that will attract the best talent in the country. The additional 100 jobs we are creating are just the beginning of our plans for the business. “

The company is partnering with the London Medical Imaging and AI Center for Value-Based Healthcare to pave the way for artificial intelligence hospitals and the future of patient care.

The project will build and deploy new AI platforms to support clinicians with faster diagnoses and treatments, personalized therapies, and effective screenings for a range of diseases and procedures.

Answer also supports the development and delivery of the NHS Integrating Care Program and works with NHS Digital to connect IT systems.

To support recruitment, the company is expanding its academy, which has been accelerating young people into digital skills in software development, integration, test automation and project management over the past six years. Over half of Answer Digital’s employees are alumni.
